Procrastination means to delay, postpone, or putting off something that needs to be done. This is something that many of us are guilty of and we are aware of this but still do it. For example, you’re going on vacation, and you wait until the night before or the morning of to pack! This vacation was planned months ago, you already shopped for the trip, but everything is still in bags until the last minute. This is crazy but it still happens every time, we put off packing until the last minute! Procrastinators will procrastinate about any and everything such as: cleaning your closet, going grocery shopping, getting a car wash, homework! People procrastinate for different reasons or the severity of a situation; they may feel overwhelmed or stressed! Making important decision that may impact other people or just making life changing decisions will cause a person to procrastinate. Some will procrastinate because they may work better under pressure or at the last minute. Either way, it is better to get things done in a timely fashion and be done with it. When putting things off until the last minute, you forget something important or run the risk of things not getting done at all. So, if you want to go back to school, lose weight, buy a house, travel, or start a business, stop procrastinating and just do it!
